What is Single Ply?
Single ply roof membranes are strong and flexible sheets of synthetic polymer which are cut to size and sealed at the seams with hot air to create a continuous waterproof and weatherproof covering for your building. It is versatile and durable and suitable for any roof structure. With added insulation it creates a complete roofing system for any project large or small, whether new build or restoration. By adding insulation it provides improved thermal efficiency, reducing energy usage and loss of heat.
With different options with their own benefits depending on the roof type you are constructing, we can accomodate your requirements. We can install insulation to Building Regulations Part L specification on both new build and refurbishment projects.

Single ply can be used on flat or sloping roofs, on new build or renovation projects and is a very versatile, strong and safe option for your roof.
It is weather resistant and can withstand extremes of temperatures making it suitable for cold climates. It is damage resistant having excellent tear strength which is important in exposed areas with extreme winds. It has an anti-slip surface providing safety during installation and maintenance. It is fire resistant and self extinguishing meaning it does not add or help to the spreading of fire. It is a safe method to install on a roof as it is welded with hot air and no naked flame is needed.
